Client Spotlight: Bachman’s HVAC Solutions

Founded in 1955 by Richard Q. Bachman, Bachman’s HVAC Solutions has grown into a trusted name in commercial and industrial HVAC services throughout the Cincinnati Tri-State Area. Rod Bachman, who now leads the company, has carried forward his father’s principles of integrity, customer care, and technical excellence, while preparing the business for the next chapter.

As Bachman’s looked to strengthen its brand and expand its reach, Rod knew he needed help because leading a marketing strategy wasn’t within his wheelhouse. “I’m a sales and operations guy,” he said. “I knew we needed to do more with marketing, but I didn’t feel confident leading it.” Following the advice of his advisory board, Rod engaged CMO-OnLoan to bring marketing leadership to the table.

Laying the Groundwork for Long-Term Growth

From the outset, CMO-OnLoan focused on creating a practical, sustainable marketing foundation. “They had a sales foundation,” said Amy from CMO-OnLoan, “but they needed marketing to build brand awareness and support the sales team, and didn’t have anyone to lead the marketing efforts.”

CMO-OnLoan led the project management from start to finish, helping Bachman’s find the right vendor for their website and coordinating all aspects of content and communication.

“CMO-OnLoan didn’t just give us ideas,” said Rod. “They gave us a process and a plan that made sense for our business and helped us implement it.”

One of the most transformative aspects of the engagement came halfway through the project, when Rachel Bachman joined as the company’s new Marketing Specialist. “Rachel was a game changer for the company. Helping onboard her and seeing her grow in confidence was so much fun,” Amy shared.

Rachel quickly immersed herself in the plan, frameworks, content strategies, and tools created by CMO-OnLoan. “Their strategic insights and hands-on training gave me the confidence to execute campaigns that enhanced our visibility,” she said. “They weren’t just consultants, they were mentors.”

Together, they created a KPI tracker to measure marketing and sales effectiveness, implemented simple, repeatable templates for content and campaigns, and built a consistent brand presence across channels. Rachel added, “I’m most proud of the growth in our social media following and engagement. It’s helped us better connect with our audience.”
