Your prospects don’t see marketing and sales as separate entities, and marketing content should reinforce the sales team’s messaging to create a consistent, trustworthy experience. This will create a smoother customer journey, leading to better lead generation and a smoother sales process. 

3. Ditch the Vanity Metrics

What you measure matters. Impressions, clicks, and lead counts can look impressive, but they don’t matter if they’re not tied to your actual business goals. Measure the entire marketing funnel – marketing and sales should work together to drive results, not in isolation. Know your business goals and then track metrics that will help you reach those goals. As you monitor the data, you can spot opportunities to optimize and make smarter decisions.
